Contrast 

I find it interesting that the color palette can change so drastically whilst hiking on one trail. Been lots of other places, but something about the Appalachian range is different. One moment you’re bombarded with bright greens, around the next corner it’s browns and rusts, look out over the horizon and it’s going to be a shade of blue. If you’ve hiked in these mountains, you can attest to this unique trait.
